Tamai Onettom India Pvt. Ltd., in Collaboration with St. Xavier’s College, Ranchi, Organised an Inspiring Japan Fest

We(Tamai Onettom India Private Limited), in collaboration with St. Xavier’s College, Ranchi, successfully organised a vibrant Japan Fest aimed at connecting students with new global career possibilities through skills and language learning.
Over 410 university students from BBA and BCA courses participated in the event.
A key highlight of the fest was the presence of native Japanese speakers, who didn’t just introduce anime and technology, but also explained the Japanese mindset, spirit, history, and showed respect toward Indian people, which was very well received.

A special session featured a professor who previously taught commerce at Sophia University in Japan. He shared his journey of adapting to life in Japan and overcoming the language barrier, delivering a powerful message: “Language is as important as skills.”

The Japan Team introduced their ongoing activities, gave students a virtual tour of Japan, and highlighted the importance of learning languages, especially Japanese, for future career opportunities. They followed a student centric approach and thoughtfully explained how learning Japanese could open new opportunities where students could apply their skills. Their approach was  deeply resonated with the students

After the session, many students engaged in meaningful conversations with Native Japanese about their future paths, including studying and working in Japan. Impressively, about 70% of the students expressed interest in learning Japanese, showing a clear enthusiasm for global learning.
Many attendees shared that they found the event highly meaningful and inspiring.
