Cultural Exchange Program in DPS, Ranchi for classes 3 and 4

We are delighted to share that Tamai Onettom India Private Limited has organized a virtual cultural exchange program between Delhi Public School, Ranchi(DPS) from India, and Nara Ikuei Global Elementary School from Japan on 11th July 2024. The students of classes 3 and 4 participated in this program.

The event was started by Nara School kids of 3rd and 4th graders together. They started sharing their experience about the sports day that they celebrated recently. They shared the names of the different games they played like Nakayoshi Relay, Tug of War, Let’s Go in Sync, Red and White Team Relay, Relay Race, etc They also shared the ways of playing these games and showed short clips of how they played in sports day of each game. It was a great experience watching the clips of the students and performing them at the sports day festival.

Then the event was carried out by 3rd grade students of Delhi Public School Ranchi. They shared about the URJA - The spring camp by DPS Ranchi, 2024, which they recently participated in and it included activities like Yoga, Martial arts, Dancing, and Biology forest. They also showed a small clip that featured the highlights of the camp.
Then the 4th grade students started sharing the culture of India through the medium of musical instruments. They explained about the instruments and how they play an important role in our culture. They also showcased how different instruments look and, the different sounds they make. The different instruments included were Tabla, Dholak, Sitar, Mridangan, etc

Then students from both ends asked questions to each other related to their school activities, camps, festivals, and unique things about their school, their art and musical instruments, and it was concluded with the happy faces of children from both ends.

We look forward to conducting more such events in many more schools.
